This certification guides Google customers to select a consent management platform that enables the highest possible percentage of successful implementations, outstanding customer support, and that Google customers can easily set them up with Consent Mode. Google mandates that companies using its services in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland implement a [certified consent management platform (CMP)](https://usercentrics.com/press/usercentrics-cmp-google-certified-for-new-eu-publisher-requirements/) that integrates with the latest version of Consent Mode. This requirement enables companies to obtain customer consent for processing personal data and signal these consent choices to control Google services like Google Ads and Google Analytics.
